World Earth Day | Protect Our Blue Planet with Small Act

World Earth Day | Protect Our Blue Planet with Small Act

April 22nd each year is the festival of our shared home—World Earth Day.

From the very first Earth Day in 1970 to the present day, over half a century later, "protecting the Earth" has long ceased to be an empty slogan. Instead, it has become a responsibility and commitment woven into the very fabric of our daily lives—how we dress, eat, live, and travel.

This blue planet, with its majestic mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, and its vibrant tapestry of life, is the only home for humanity. Every patch of land, every drop of water, and every breath of air is deeply connected to our existence.

World Earth Day is never just a ritual for a single day—it is a steadfast commitment that lasts all 365 days of the year.

It does not call for earth-shattering feats, but rather resides in the quiet moments of our ordinary routines:

  • Turn off lights and appliances when not in use; say no to "ever-burning lamps" to practice a low-carbon lifestyle and reduce energy consumption.
  • Tighten faucets promptly and recycle water resources; do not let a single drop go to waste.
  • Practice waste sorting and reduce plastic use; bring your own reusable bags and bottles, and refuse single-use items.
  • Save food and participate in the "Clean Plate Campaign"; cherish the fruits of every laborer's hard work.
  • Actively participate in tree planting and care for every plant around you to add a touch of green to our Earth.

May we all strive to be "protectors" of the Earth rather than "consumers." May every sky be clear and blue, every land be full of vitality, and every ocean be crystal clear. May this blue planet remain forever safe, beautiful, and vibrant.
